Stuart Barnes, 45, of Spring, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2026, leaving behind his wife of 9 months and 9-year-old twins. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends who are scattered all over the world.
Stuart was born on August 2, 1980 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was outgoing, fun-loving and a keen and successful sportsman, particularly enjoying tennis, field hockey, cricket and golf. He graduated from Cape Town University in December 2001, with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. In 2004 Stuart moved to the United States where he worked in IT and became an American citizen.
He met his wife Katrina in 2024, proposed to her on Valentine's Day 2025 and they married on June 27, 2025.
Stuart’s loving parents Andy and Lynn Barnes, brother Scott Barnes, children Kaden and Haylen Barnes, and stepdaughters Addisyn and Piper Hodges did not have enough time with him.
Stuart was devoted to his children and family. He was a hands-on and loving father and a caring and romantic husband.
He will live on in the hearts of those left behind and long be remembered.
