Susan Mary Marceau Callaway passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 22, 2022, at the age of 84.  Born in Duluth, Minnesota to William and Dorothy Marceau and the eldest of five siblings, Bill, John, Joe, Pam and Mark.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Bill Callaway and eldest son David.  Susan and Bill were blessed with four children; Catherine, David, Stephen and John.  She is the grandmother of nine and great-grandmother to seven. Bill and Susan passionately pursued Christ, and were instrumental in the establishment of many Catholic Charismatic prayer groups in the Houston/Galveston area.  Susan served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.   Susan served as an educator and principal in a career spanning over thirty years.  She taught at the University of Houston, San Jacinto, and Harris County Colleges.  She served as principal at St. Pius V, St. Joseph, and True Cross Catholic schools.  In retirement, she lived in Kosse, Texas with her husband and volunteered at the Women's Hobby and Marlon Units in the chaplaincy ministry for twelve years.  Following the loss of her husband in 2017, Susan moved to Spring, Texas living with her daughter and son-in-law Catherine and Greg Radliff.  A celebration of life Memorial Mass will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church in Spring Texas at 10:30 am on her birthday October 27th with luncheon there following.  On the next day, there will be a brief service at 1:40 pm at the Houston National Veterans Cemetery with internment of ashes beside her husband.
