Obituary

Terry Compton Harper (82), of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024.

Terry was born in Houston, Texas on November 5, 1941.  He attended Reagan High School, University of Houston, where he also took care of the mascot, Shasta the Cougar.  He opened his own business in his early career (Precision Radio & Speedometer.  He also had his own furniture and refinishing shop.  Terry loved hunting and fishing his younger days.

During his time in the senior living community, he loved walking daily.  Terry would teach bible study to other residents.  He also would print daily devotion scriptures to encourage other friends and neighbors that lived in the community.

Terry was born to Odessa and Tenny Harper in Houston, Texas.  He is survived by his three sons, Glen Harper, Damon Harper (Lisa) and Brent Harper (Jackie).  He leaves behind 6 grandchildren.

John 14:1-3: Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 12:00pm located at the Garden of God, 12317 Holderrieth Rd. Tomball, Texas 77375.
