Obituary

Tim Lee Eberhardt passed gently in his sleep January 9, 2021. after a long downhill battle with Type 2
Diabetes. Tim was born December 03, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio to Evelyn Lucille Mallette Eberhardt and
Raymond Lewis Eberhardt. The second oldest of 9 children, Tim always strived to provide for his family.
He graduated Class of 1977 from Mansfield High School and met his first wife, Kimberly, mother of his
oldest son, James "Jimmy" Raymond Eberhardt. After Highschool, Tim enlisted in the US Army where he
held the position of Private until he was honorably discharged a short time later. After the military, Tim
pursued multiple careers before he decided to marry the "boss's daughter "and love of his life, Tania
Renee Evans.
Tim and Tania were married in the church on February 14, 1987. During their marriage, the happy
couple raised 4 children together; 3 daughters: Faith Nicole Eberhardt, Shawn Brittaney Eberhardt
Patterson, and Whenddi Lin Eberhardt Grant, as well as a son, Jordon Anthony Edward Riley Eberhardt.
Faith went on to have 3 children; Brody Nathaniel, MiaDalani, and Cohen Brian. Shawn went on to have
7 children; Madyson Elizabeth, Baileigh Alysse, Skyler Brooke, Alexzander Joseph, Kelsie Leeanne,
Dakotah Lynn and Loghan Grayce. Whenddi went on to have 1 child; Jaylon Scott. Totaling 11
Grandchildren.
If there was one word to describe Tim Eberhardt, it would be Pawpaw. He lived for his grandchildren. No
matter how he was feeling, he would never turn down spending time with his grandbabies. Tim wasn't
just a great father and grandfather; he was what you would call a "Jack of all trades". If anything was
broken, you wouldn't find Tim calling a handy man, no sir…no ma'am…you would see him dragging his
old tool box out and fixing it himself. No matter what it was, he'd fix it. That's just who he was. Tim was
always so full of life, his main goal was to make others laugh and smile. Tim, though happily married for
almost 34 years, would get a kick out of "proposing "to every server, nurse, doctor, cashier, etc that he
meet. He never met a stranger. It was a running joke when his children were young, that he would often
tell the server/cashier that he didn't have money but he could leave his kids instead. I chuckle at this
because it describes him to a tee. Speaking of "T's", his sense of humor was even more evident in the T-
shirts he chose to wear. He was always wearing some funny, sarcastic screen tee.
Tim was a great man and he will be dearly be missed. He is predeceased by his mother, father, brother
Michael and son James "Jimmy" Eberhardt. Survived by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, brothers
Scott, Keith, Darrell, and Richard, and sisters Rhonda and DeeDee along with multiple nieces and
nephews.
Services for Tim will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 4:30 pm at the residence of his adopted daughter Katelyn Jane Boer
