Obituary

Timothy James Davis, 54, of Tomball, Texas; formerly of Olathe, Kansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 2, 2020 at Vitas Hospice Care Center in Shenandoah, Texas after a lengthy illness. Timothy was born on March 30, 1966 in Bellaire, Texas to parents LaVerne Alma and Jamie Earl Davis.


Timothy Graduated from Needville High School Class of 1984, Wharton Community College with an Associates in Business Degree Class of 1986, Rhema Bible Training College Class of 1988. On March 25, 1989 Timothy married Laura Lynn Williams in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Together they had two children, Victoria Anne and Timothy Anton (Tad).


Timothy played football (#78) for both WillowRidge and Needville. He was an active member and leader in his church youth group always loving and serving the Lord. He was active in FFA and Wood Shop competitions. After graduating college Timothy served churches in Wharton, Texas; Magnolia, Arkansas and Olathe, Kansas. As a teenager Timothy developed a love for building and construction that came from time spent with his grandpa Schonert. His first job was with a construction company! He became a master electrician, a master plumber and was certified in HV/AC. He was a general contractor in the greater Kansas City area for many years. Timothy deeply loved his family, especially his children who were his pride and joy. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved cooking and grilling! He could make any meat taste divine! He was a member of Life Grillers of Olathe for many years. Timothy loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Timothy's strength and courage were unsurpassed. He was an encouragement and inspiration to all who knew him. As a generous person, Timothy was always willing to share his time and talents with others. Timothy was loving and kind and knew no stranger. He was a warrior to the end in his battle
with complications of diabetes and multiple myeloma.


Timothy is survived by his mother LaVerne Davis, father Jamie Davis, daughter Victoria Bunker and husband Teryn, son Timothy (Tad) Davis, two grandchildren, Tristan and Rowan Bunker, sister Rev. Kimberly Spellman and husband Rev. Mark, two nephews Rev. Samuel and Daniel Spellman, and his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and great cousins.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Carmel Church 12412 Hwy-36 Needville, Texas from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and Celebration of Life Service following at 11:00 a.m.


Honorary Pall Bearers will be Edward Lopez, Donald Gray, Michael Davis, Rev. Samuel Spellman, Daniel Spellman and Troy Davis.
