Vanessa Claree Branch, 65, passed away on December 15, 2020, surrounded by her daughters in Katy, Texas.  She was born September 30, 1955, in Perry County, Alabama to William and Iola Skinner. She is preceded in death by her father William Skinner Sr.  Vanessa leaves behind her mother Iola Ellison; her two daughters Victoria Patrice Hummons and Jasmine Ashley Branch; her sister Rosemary Skinner; her brother William Skinner Jr, her two grandsons Michael LaSean Smith Jr and Bryan Stefan Smith; aunts, uncles and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Everyone who knew Vanessa knew that she loved GOD.  She just had a presence about her that drew people to her.  She was always there to offer advice and prayer.  She almost always had some kind of book in her hands.  Vanessa was a fighter, and enjoyed life to the fullest. You will be missed greatly.
