Victor E. Houston, 87, passed away on June 23, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Tomball, Texas. He was born on September 11, 1933, in Victoria, Texas to Mary Christine Trotter Houston and Wilburn Collins Houston. Victor is preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Jean Houston (60 years of marriage); both parents, all of his older brothers; Wilburn, Ross, & TJ Houston and his youngest grand-daughter Chelsea Houston.

He leaves behind his two daughters and son: Kari Coble-her husband Rob; Holly Cantone- Her husband Tony; Dan Houston; Five Grandchildren: Jason Coble, Sean Cantone, Serena Coble-Campana, Justin Coble, Shannon Cantone – Hair: 11 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Victor was a member of the lions club while they lived in Brazoria, Texas for approximately three years. First & Foremost extremely active in the First Congregational Church from approximately 1976 – 2008. He served on the church board as financial director, was involved in delivering meals on wheels & was one of the church ushers. He enjoyed attending annual company picnics with Dow Chemical and often designed the signs & flyers.

Victor had awesome penmanship & the ability to sketch. He was often asked to design posters and signs/lettering. His hobbies included building balsa wood airplanes when his children were younger, along with building shelves, cabinets, and various wood working crafts. He loved his flying/airplane magazines as well as attending airshows. He loved to travel and take vacations/cruises with his church. Victor always loved to sketch, and he took up painting after his stroke. He will truly be missed by all who loved him and had the pleasure of knowing him.
