Obituary

William Andrew Morgan Jr (Bill) was born on August 25, 1949 in Leonardtown, Maryland. He died at home in Fulshear, TX at 9:34 PM on  December 13th 2020. He  is the second child of 7, and first son born to William Andrew Morgan Sr. and Lucille Moran Morgan. He joined the Air Force in August of 1968, eventually serving in the 380 Bomb Wg Strategic Air Core (SAC)  in Plattsburgh NY. Theadore H. Stein MSGT wrote in a performance report that "he possesses an uncanny comprehension of the MX-4251 input/output keyboard. James Holland MSgt wrote in a Performance Report, "The exemplary manner in which Airman Morgan accomplishes any task set before him is evidenced by his graduation with honors from the 8th AF IBM Selectric Keyboard and Format Message Composer course. This honor graduation required maintaining a better than 90% average."

He met his future wife Beverly (Durocher) Morgan when he was stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. After discharge Bill worked in the computer industry, first as a field engineer then as a software programmer and eventually had his own corporation as a computer consultant working in Silicon Valley in California.

He and Beverly had 2 children, Kami born in 1973 and Todd born in 1977 and 3 babies who  miscarried. He has 4 grandchildren, Veronica, Colette, Isabella and Giselle Bossart and one great grandchild, Violet Bossart. He is survived by His sisters Dee Morgan and Jeanette Norris, his brothers Mike (Debbie), Ray (Emily), and Keith Morgan (Heather). nieces Kelly Haines (Kris), Hannah Lucille and Kennedy Morgan; nephews, Brooks Norris (Alison), Michael (Julie),  Nathan (Diana),  and Terry Morgan; and great nieces Abby Morgan, Lila Haines and great nephews Gabe, Remi Morgan, and Asher Haines.

The words of family members sheds light on his personality. Beverly writes, "Bill always  assumed he could do anything he tried. He also assumed the same for me, his confidence in me increased my can do spirit. If Bill thought I could do it, it  must mean I could.", In the words of his daughter, "My dad was patient and kind and taught me so much about life. I never had to sit up alone when I couldn't sleep or was sick. I learned about being honest and having integrity and being a great parent to my own kids through his example." His son-in-law writes, "Bill had an unending supply of patience. He was always extremely honorable, except when it came to playing hide and go seek where he used his flashlight to find the kids. Always supportive of other people's decisions even if they weren't his choices. He was the salt of the earth and now heaven has him. He's the father-in-law every son-in-law would want to have."  A memory from  Gigi, "when we did hide and go seek I had a really good hiding spot and I won and he was still willing to play with me even if I was being bratty and Bella would complain even though she had lost." A friend of Todd, Jesse James wrote, "Send him (Bill) my love and let him know  how much Todd loves him and how much of an inspiration he is to people he doesn't even know; when we were kids I came over and Todd opened the door to Bill's office for just a moment. My young mind simply saw a workspace put together by an obviously skilled human being. Stuff like that affects young minds." His niece by marriage, Sherry Prinsen, echoed the thoughts of many, "Uncle Bill was a soft spoken and gentle man.".Niece by-marriage Lisa Durocher Touse writes, "I remember him as a great photographer and he took one of my favorite pictures of myself."

Parkinson's and Cancer weakened his body but his spirit remained strong. He will join many family members who have gone before, his beloved son Todd, his parents, his brother Edward, his maternal aunts Harriet, Dorothy and Regina and so many more. His stated goal was to prepare a way for Beverly so he was glad to go before her trusting her can do spirit to carry on without him.
