William Joseph Murphy of Houston Texas , known to all as Bill, passed into Gods arms on May 8th, 2021 .  He is preceded in death by his father Denis Murphy, his mother Phyllis Maiola, a sister, Patricia Ann Dubois and brother Denis Michael Murphy of Little Rock Arkansas..

He is survived by his wife Lena Murphy of Houston Texas,  a daughter, Carmela Wright, 2 son's Grant Murphy and Korey Murphy and 3 grandsons, Miguel Gonzales, William Anger and Jarryd Anger all of Ringgold Ga.  He is also survived by 2 sister's Debra (Dee) Southall and Maureen Carpenter and 2 brothers, John Murphy and Patrick Murphy all of Little Rock Arkansas.

Bill was a 21 year veteran of the United States Navy. His passion's in life were his children, the Mighty P3-Orion, a plane he was flight engineer on for many years in the Navy and dearly loved, his motorcycles, and wood carving, especially wooden Carousel animals. Bill was always quick with a joke and a smile or to lend a helping hand when needed.. He will be sorely missed. His cremains will be interred in the Houston National Cemetery with honors.
