IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Marshall
Stewart
November 24, 1925 – June 13, 2021
Dr. William Marshall Stewart, 95, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021 while residing in the Tomball Rehab and Nursing Home.
He was born on November 24, 1925, in Warren, Ohio, to Carl and Arretta Stewart. He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen, and leaves behind Bruce, Lee, Kenneth, Carl, Dana, Miki, Penn Patrick, Lonnie, Marshall, Michelle, and Will. He is also survived by his sisters Jeanette Robinson and Laura Stewart, as well as an incredible legacy of step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren around the world. Two of his other children, Terrence and Leslie, along with brother Earl, precede him in death.
William, commonly referred to as "Doc," enjoyed a long and fruitful life filled with many chapters and lasting through many eras. He was a highly decorated officer in the Air Force, faithfully serving through both World War II as part of the Army Aircorp Tuskegee program as well as in the Vietnam War, eventually achieving the prestigious rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was also an accomplished doctor and businessman, specializing in oral dentistry and maxillofacial surgery before exploring and thriving in international business and entrepreneurship. Much of his success was due to his brilliant mind and charismatic spirit, along with massive ambition and a tenacious internal drive that played a critical role in his longevity and kept him excited even through his last days alive. The depth of his love and care for his family and friends was best expressed through inclusion in his ambitious dreams, through infectious moments of laughter, occasional fishing trips, and simply enjoying the more relaxing moments to watch sports and share holidays with loved ones.
In conclusion, it is an understatement to say that Doc was a one-of-a-kind soul that will forever be remembered and cherished by the many lives he influenced and touched.
