Yvonne T. Secrest, 43, passed away peacefully on January, 8, 2021 surrounded by her sister and her best friend at her home in Tomball, Texas.

She was born on March, 25, 1977 in Hindenburg, Poland to Johann and Theresa Wrzyciel.  At the age of 12, she and her family moved to Germany, where she lived for 8 years. There, she attended the Ernst-Barlach-Gymnasium in Unna, where she graduated in 1997. After her graduation Yvonne explored America as an Au Pair. She fell in love with the country and the people and decided to leave Germany.

She is survived by her mother, Theresa Wrzyciel, her brother Darius Wrzyciel in Germany and her sister Evelin Korte with whom she lived. She is also leaving her nephew Lennert Korte and her niece Lisa Wrzyciel behind. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father Johann Wrzyciel, who passed in 2007.

She enjoyed working for United Airlines since 2000 and loved her work family as much as she loved her own.

Traveling the world was Yvonne's favorite thing to do. She was a gifted piano player from the time she was a little girl and enjoyed spending time with her friends and a glass of wine.

Yvonne is missed by so many. She had the kindest heart and the sweetest soul.
